Luis Enrique (Kique) Bossio (Lima, Peru. 1964) studied Humanities (Catholic University of Peru, 1981-84), Anthropology (San Marcos University, 1984-87); Communications (University of Lima, 1988-92); and completed the coursework for an MA in Intercultural Management (School for International Training, Vermont, USA, 1993-94). He directed Cross-Cultural Solutions (international volunteer program) in Peru between 1999 and 2017. Prior to that, he was the Peru/Bolivia Program Director for the Canadian volunteer agency CUSO. He is a founding member (1985) and former Executive Director (1992) of Movimiento Homosexual de Lima, MHOL. He has done translations for numerous organizations including the U.S. Committee for Refugees, The Carter Center, Human Rights Watch/Americas, London School of Economics, Washington Office on Latin America, International Drug Policy Consortium, Open Society Foundations, Release UK, Transnational Institute, Transform Drug Policy Foundation, George Mason University, CARE, Columbia University, Oxfam America, Oxfam UK, Christian Aid, Comisión Andina de Juristas, Plan International, Catholic Institute for International Relations (CIIR), PROSA Autoayuda para Personas VIH+, and Centro de la Mujer Peruana “Flora Tristán”.
